Lasörling trek

The hike starts in St. Jakob in Defereggen in the district "Außerberg". You hike through a uniquely charming mountain landscape of dark rocky peaks, bright waters and particularly colorful mountain flora. On the ascent over the sunny side, the view of the mighty mountains of the Lasörling group accompanies us. To the north is a former mining area, where there is also the opportunity to make a detour to the miners' houses. Via the flat high-altitude trail high above the Trojer Almen, the trail continues to the Neue Reichenberger Hütte. There, after a refreshment, you have the opportunity to climb the Hüttenberg, the towering Gösleswand (2,913 m).

Continue over the Rote Lenke, the Kleinbachboden and the Prägarter Törl to the Lasörlinghütte. The descent from the Rote Lenke leads through a wildly rugged area with large boulders to the Kleinbachboden and then uphill again to the Prägrater Törl. You can decide whether you are still fit enough to climb the Lasörling (3,098 m) or whether you want to descend straight to the Lasörlinghütte. If you dare to climb the summit, you will be rewarded for the arduous climb with a breathtaking view of the entire Hohe Tauern.
