Description

Starting right at the entrance to the gorge – which means you can get to it in a very short space of time – you proceed up on a rock ledge, from which there is a superb view to Leisach, Amlach and Lienz.

The relatively short via ferrata route is also suitable for children aged 10 and up.

The path is secured throughout with steel cables and in the steepest area has 2 iron ladders. Exposed in sections, so sure-footedness and a head for heights required. At the upper area in particular watch out for falling rocks!

Equipment: Full via ferrata route equipment and helmet. A complete via ferrata set can be hired for a small fee at the cash desk.

The via ferrata route is reachable at the opening times from the water park Galitzenklamm.
